karma question...

How do you know whether the karma you get is good or bad?

This is the message I got with some grey karma:

"WOW!!! karma from you!!? thats quite a prize!! i know they are bother very hopeful that they can be the lucky one to get karma from you!!!! maybe one day i will get karma from you, im only dreaming now."

I don't know if they are being sarcastic, or English isn't their first language, or second, or third...

I'm not sure but i think its from a user that has a low number of posts(under 500). Usually after a member that can give you good karma does (like i'm about to) then it counts that.

Don't worry about it. What it means is that that person has less than 100 points of karma, and therefore their karma has no effect on your point total. I just ignore those stupid things. Since it has no effect it has no color and it is impossible (and also uninteresting) to know which bow the person clicked.

And yes negative karma is red and subtracts from your total.
