So concert blew. Kanye was 2 hours late and then did the worst set I've ever seen. Little Brother and C-Lo were much better. However, the turntables broke half-way through the concert prompting this stall:


Little Brother: When I say KOBE, You say Did It!
L.B. - KOBE!
Audience - DID It!
L.B. - Damn, he better be glad they didnt try his ass in blacksburgh or ya'll would have hung him

(Considering were a. In the south, b. A short drive away from LYNCHburg..this comment got an interesting silence.)

"Ok...Lets see which side is the loudest.
Right Side - On 3, scream CHARLIE!
Left Side - On 3, MURPHY!

15 minutes of CHARLIE MURPHY!!!

followed by

When I say "Yeah!"
Ya'll say "Okaaaay!"

P.S. the Ron Jeremy thing SUCKED! So many fucking people protesting against pornography it literally ruined every chance to ask him anything. Fucking morons.

Kanye West should keep to producing. He sucks on the mic anyway. Back in the day, bro, rap concerts WERE hot. Large venues in Philly, NY and LA were the thing. I'm talking summers of '83-'90 -KRS ONE, Big Daddy Kane, Stetsasonic, Eric B. and Rakim, EPMD, Kurtis Blow, Grand Master Flash- That was my day and the concerts were really good. Not these kids today... They think a 1995 Mary J. Blige album is ole school.

Or, is it just my age catching up to me: I'm married and a father and my daughter is old enough to tell me that I'm embarrassing. Oh what the hell! It happens to the best of us.

Rap most of the time just isn't good in concert form for so many reasons. Ice Cube and The Beastie Boys were 2 rap acts I've seen that were quite good in concert.

I've seen many rap shows, the majority good, a few bad. The most recent was Gangstar who fukking ripped it. Rap is best heard in smaller venues, football and b-ball stadiums suck for rap...

I saw them with Cody Chestnutt, and the opening act was some crazy reggae guy. It was on their college tour so it was pretty small and they rocked hard.

i've only been to one rap concert and that was 50 cent

it was horrible....he too was over 2 hours late and then he sound system was jacked up so loud that it was pure fuzz every set he did......i haven't been to another since, but i still love the music

Yep 50 is known for on-the-whole horrid live performances. He usually doesnt change this voice to the southern accent which just makes him sound horrid.

I agree with you, Kanye has no flow what so ever and his lyrics are beyond simple. He should def stick with producing and thats it.
