I know it's a stupid question and would never even attempt. but just wondering if someone were to not even do pct (i know they would be all f*cked up) but would evrything eventually go back to normal without any supplements? or would they be fucked untill they took something?

It is very much like Gambling.

Some can do NO PCT and come back.

SOME NEVER come back unless they do 1 PCT or even more.

PCT is one of the most important parts of any cycle

i guess the only way to know is try it. you would screw up all the gains you made and your natty test levels would be shit,

Between my last HRT course (3 years) and my current one, I did no pct and when I got my bloodwork back (3 weeks after using nothing), I was at a test level of about 240 or so...250-300 is the bottom line for hypogonadal. I think I eventually would have gotten back to being not hypogonadal eventually, without anything.

Based on studies using AAS for male contraception, about 20% of male population has resistance to developing azoospermia, meaning they maintain sufficient LH/FSH levels to preserve some level of test production.

Id venture to say that about 5-10% of males using bodybuilding doses of AAS can bounce back without PCT… AAP being one of them.

Of course, you greatly increase you chances of becoming totally suppressed when you combine androgens and estrogens with progestins. Such as Test and Deca.

I know I'm not resistant to azoospermia (I'm firing more blanks than Sylvester Stallone in Rambo)...my LH and FSH levels were basically nothing (too low to measure, in the case of my LH, as I recall from bloodwork)while I was on a cycle...

I don't think I would have gotten to where I would have been had I never used AAS (at 19 years old, my totally natural test levels were only like 650ish). I just think I would have gotten to a level where I was barely above hypogonadal. I was on for three years straight, but for the last year (or half year?) I was on HRT doses of just test and 'var, though...

I think the HPTA is more resiliant than we give it credit for when we're still in our twenties...

probably age too????

PCT is important but overrated IMO. Sometimes it can do more harm than good. (As was the case anytime I used clomid).

Supps and a-dex are readily available and although pricy, you need so little it doesn't wind up costing much at all.

the HPTA usually recover with time but PCT speeds up the process and helps prevent a crash. but often PCT can be run too soon and for too short a period of time.

the main way things were handled before the PCT protocols was just with a long slow tapering of dosages with orals, for 6-8 weeks or longer past the last shot of long ester. most people recovered fine with a tapering of dosages vs. the modern process of jumpstarting and trying to induce the HPTA to bounce back rapidly via more drugs.

a mix of the old ways and new is probably the best bet, keeping in mind the importance of allowing enough time to recovery. but most hpta's can be restored to normal its rare that this is not the case.
