Yea, the plot wasn't exactly complex but I thought the action and special effects made up for it. The temple spurt got a great reaction from the crowd too, I was laughing my ass off.

bro i just read the first post on this thread, nothing more but based on your high reccomendation of the film I'm going to go see it in 10 minutes.
 
what kind of complicated plots were you all expecting from a story of basically cave people.....except substitute cave for jungles of south america!! What, were we looking for some M night shyamalan twists?? Gimme a break....go see the movie......if for nothing else than for the juiced out aztec chief. Dude was seriously fucking diesel......and seriously fucking scary. I highly doubt anybody had that kind of musculature back then......as is evidenced by that no other character in the movie came even close to him.

Why is everyone acting like the bad chief was jacked? Dude was nothing but fat and water. Hell I have seen teenagers with dbol bloat showing more defination than he did.

I find that hard to beleive......that guy was "athletically" jacked......it didn't look like his muscle was all from weightlifting.......he has some other kind of athletic background. And he was just a mean knarly SOB tooo
 
oh that photo doesn't even "remotely" do him justice.....it doesn't even look like him?? anyway, maybe that photo was taken during preshoots......and he hopped up on the sauce by the time filming rolled around....who knows? but in the movie he was a pretty muscular boy.....especially for those people. So maybe it was just the difference between him and all the other small little indians they got to play those roles??

Hey visor boy,

I never said anything of the such regarding having a BBing physique.

I don't think the dude was above average in anyway. He was surrounded by the skinny ass dudes that were probably 5'3". He had some fat (read:bodyweight) on him and everyone raving about he's sitting on diesel.

Get real.

That isn't the chief...and I think he has better development than the guy everyone is sucking cock on here about.
 
I just posted that picture in referance to you saying that he was surrounded by skinny 5'3 guys. If you look at the cast they were pretty ripped, not bulky BB types but very athleticaly built.

you're insane......the chief was no DB either, depending on his height....which is hard to judge given how small most of the guys were......the dude looked to be well over 200. And in the movie......he WAS diesel. Maybe he just hit the tren real hard, but he had mad vasc. going on. I remember wondering if they had the juice back then......so something was going on.

maybe I need to see the movie again......but his shit looked like it was popping. He definitely had the "long" look to him......long muscles, not BB'er muscles.
