So I was squatting today at the gym, and into my third set on the first rep while sticking out my butt I felt something rip/pop (I had headphones on) and could only assume that either my shorts, boxers, or both had split at my ass. I quickly racked the weight after completing that rep and reached around in back to check if my shorts had ripped, thankfully they hadn't, just my boxers had! There were like three or four other guys in the room and they acted like nothing had happened... I removed the weight and headed home. WOW! It was a short lifting session today, though I might head back later today sometime with a new set of boxers.
