Just saw "The Punisher" movie. (Thomas Jane/John Travolta)

I just got in,


Came back from seeing the Punisher movie. The whole movie was around a little more than 2 hours, and it was a good movie. I liked the fact that they followed a more "serious-style format." Rather than "comic book like," it kinda felt like just seeing his character for the first time. Understand what I mean? It was good anyway, this way...As describing his life/ story, they did it nicely by keeping the whole story true to the details about his life, so it didn't miss anything from the Marvel comics image of him. (at least I think...) Anyway, John Travolta was a really cool villian, and I "think"..."Kevin Nash/WWF"(The big Russian w/ stripes?...a.k.a = Kevin Nash???) was in it as well. Tom Jane, although not really huge/buff, he pulled it off, and came in, in good shape. Maybe could have put a little more size on, but not bad at all, played the role nicely, and was in good shape as I said before. I also liked the fact where the movie was filmed (S. Florida), and the plot was really cool. Ending with John was real good.

I saw it Friday. I thought it was good. There haven't been too many movies I really wanted to see lately.

I was disappointed in John Travolta's character. I thought he might be a bit more crazy like in Face/Off, when he becomes Castor Troy.

Even though John Travolta is an idiot(he gives his money to scientology) he plays a really good bad guy. I think his bad guy roles are some of his best. Broken Arrow and Swordfish come to mind.

Well, I'd normally agree, but his bad guy character in this movie left something to be desired. He was boring.

I liked the punisher a lot. Returned to the take away everything someone has before you kill them style, of the original story.
