lol.....i agree.....

i guess people who never read the books might not be able to appreciate LOTR....maybe if it was a video game....

Who was LOTR, the blond elf dude? He kicked so much ass, it was great. He really hands out the beat downs in the second.
Part 2 is way more action oriented, for those of you who are doubting.

LOTR= Lord of the Rings

Legolas= blond elf ass kicker

HI--> if you think the movie was long and drawn out read the book;)

Even though this book is a classic, my favorite read of all time, and the movies were both excellent i can understand how some people would not like it....oh well.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for the Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

As far as the books go The Lord of the Rings is an epic, a masterpiece.

Tolkien was a genius. He had great linguistic talent, and after studying old Welsh and Finnish, he started to invent his own "Elvish" languages. He was a Professor at Oxford, where he would prove himself one of the finest philologists in the world.

Peter Jackson did a incredible job bringing Tolkiens vision to film. I think to truly enjoy and understand these movies, you need to understand the tremendous amount of work that went into them as well as the vision of Tolkiens work itself.

Here is a little Elvish for you you HI - Llie n'vanima ar' lle atara lanneina!

My Review: Sucked Ass

What is wrong with you people, clearly this movie was boring, long, gay (frotto) and hardly the cinamatic masterpiece I was promised.
Ooooooooyeaaaaaah! Finally someone thinks the same way about this gay ass piece of elf's scrotum! :)

Karma mega zap coming your way, sir. (20 points that is...)

Reading the books helps

and the plot isnt really drawn out,it just is needed to lead into the next movie

yes, HI you have to read the books to understand the movie or u can get lost easy, as for gay, trying to compare oceans 11 to LOTR is like trying to compare an abortion pamphlet to a dickens novel or shakespeare.
