Just Saw Collateral Damage

I thought it was pretty good, much better than his last couple of movies. Some others i talked to didnt like it, but that was probably because they didnt understand the plot. There were a few things you really had to notice to understand it.

Overall I think it was a good movie. Arnold seems to do well in the movies that he gets to kick some serious ass in. I miss seeing the gun slinging commando type characters that he used to portray. Collateral Damage wasnt as ammo powered as commando but there was alot of action in it. I think it was more along the lines as a true lies type of thing. I was hoping to see him wearing a kevlar vest with grenades and ammo rounds hanging off him and a AK-47 in his hand but I was kinda dissapointed.
Saying that I think its definatly worth going to see. I give it 5 stars....

Does he appear smaller in that movie? In the trailers he did. I remember the Arnold of Conan days. Damn I wish I was that big.

Arnold is my favorite Actor of all time and always will be. I have to agree w/ Kayne on the Predator thing.

I have not seen the new flic yet, but I will tonight, kinda exited, it's been a while since a good Arnold movie came out.

I heard that he does not use a gun in the whole movie, is that true?

New Arnold movies

Arnold called Stern the other day and said he was working on Terminator 3 as well as a new Conan movie.....that should be awesome....although its tough to picture him as Conan without all his muscle....Im not sure what his role will be in the movie....

Yeah he doesnt touch a gun once in the movie. I remember reading a few years ago during an interview for the movie End of Days that his new thing is to be a good guy without having to use a gun or some shit like that in the light of the Columbine Massacre. It's just not the same if he isnt the one with the big gun shooting people.

I dont see how in T3 he going to manage to do the same thing without holding a gun. Look at his last couple of action movies where he hasnt used a gun and how many we're actually good??
They didnt show many scenes of him wearing close to nothing and he did look a little smaller, but there was this one scene in the hospital where he was lying in the bed and he looked kinda massive there. You could tell he still had some size..

Turnout was terrible, the movie theater had about 250 seats and maybe 60 people actually came to see it. 60 people at a 10:00 showing for opening day of an arnold movie....that's pretty bad.I bet if they did a remake or sequel to Commando it would be sold out.

i just got back from CD and i thought it was okay, the action scenes were pretty good but the movie was rushed, and it was very unrealistic, but any arnold movie is a good movie so id say go see it...and i though he looked big in the scene when he went into that guys office and started throwing shit around yelling "ill show you collateral damage"....
