just in from ER

Hey bros, injected last sun with prop. and test e like i have been for the past half year, and come wed. I couldnt feel a certain spot on my upper quad, it was like numb, so i rushed to the ER and told em what was up they were pretty kewl with it no lectures or n e thing, finally 10 hours later the doc came and seen me and my upper quad and did some stuff to my legs and I said its prolly a infection right? and to my surprise he said, no it the NERVE SHEETH if i remember correctly, wich has inflammation and the reason for the numbness is that along with the fact that the NERVE SHEETH is right under your skin. I thought to myself while he said this that great I really fucked up this time, but to my relief and surprise he said it should subside within 14 days completly and should get better with each passin day. Doc also said if the inflammation in the NERVE SHEETH doesn't go away and/or get more inflammed to rush over a.s.a.p. I thought id let u iron bros learn from my experience and know if u have this God forbide, that u are ok but still should get it checked out and that its not a infection. Oh yeah if n e bros have been through this b4 plz share your experience, thanx again and big up to this board!

I havn't done many injections but I can tell you one thing quad injections are a hell of a lot easier to do then glutes when you have to do it yourself. Why are so many people scared of quad injects? Shit, I'll inject anywhere there is a muscle that will take it. The worst that can happen is hitting a nerve which hurts for a sec. Last night I did a quad inject and was a little bit low and hit a nerver that made my leg twitch, it didn't hurt, just felt strange.

Pain doesn't scare me just the thought of an abscess.

thanx for all the replys guys, major inflammation has subsided. as for the dude that says its major bull sheath u go through a day of where ur totally fine then ur one leg is numb and u cannot feel it, we'll see how much bull sheath that feeling is. To me ur fuckin bull sheath.

slat bro, trust me you are missing out on some nice easy injects. It just seems creepy injecting quads, but they are simple and painless if you do them right. I just recently started doing this as well. Here is a post I posted fro Burning Inside. Might help you out a bit.

A lot of people (experienced people) do quad injections wrong. You shoot into your quad at an angle towards your knee cap. This results in less tissue resistance. Thats also why a 1.5 inch pin is fine, cause of the slight angle.

You should be injecting into the upper part of the vastus lateralis muscle (lateral midthigh area). Jab the needle in so that its inserted one inch toward the anterior aspect of the thigh. There are no important nerves or vessels in close proximity.

Its for an infant, but the principal remains the same. You also have much more muscle that an infant (hopefully), so it goes deeper on the angle. I just recently starting shooting quads and they are great. If you are doing them properly ... they will be completely painless.
