just how effective is finasteride

im prone to hairloss but im wanting to use test in my next cycle. i have some proscar which i plan on splitting into four and taking while on. do i need to start the proscar before my cycle so its in my system already or can i just start it as i start my cycle. just how effective is this stuff. i dont plan on using more than 500mg/week of test. which test would be the better one to use??

the more finasteride one uses does it increase its effectiveness?? say i were to use 2.5mg/day (half a proscar tab) would this be better than a quater tab??

2,5mg/ed works fine but I reported some more nipples sensibility.
