Just got my blood work back and my liver values are a bit elevated!!!

Too many peeps here forget that a heavy workout will raise your liver enzymes. That's why I never work out within two days of a blood test. I learned this the hard way. I had a heavy work out just hours before a blood test. Nurse called me days later and told me to get my ass back in for another test. First test values were through the roof. Second test, without workout, were normal.

A heavy workout will raise them? I never would have known that. Good to know as i'm due for a blood test in 2 weeks. Thanks dude...

Don't worry about ALT and AST, those are horrible indicators. The only time I get a good reading on those is when I don't lift for a week. All they measure is muscle damage and protein breakdown, which most bodybuilders have all the time. I just had my blood tested with a week to go on my cycle and my ALT and AST were the same as when I started. Both a little high, because I lifted in the past week.

its not the point whether you drank on the cycle or not, if you are drinking now and just had your blood panel recently I take it, then your levels could be up from that. Right??
No, not enough to raise my liver values. If I drink it's maybe 3 or 4 beers at the most. I never binge drink.

Good point. I worked out the day before my blood test so it could have possibly been that.
