I got one of those once. She literally said "You think you are so great. You arent that great" (or something along those lines). I just smiled and replied "sure i am, and we both know it". then turn aaround and walk out. Completely fucks their head up.
 
Best way to get over her is by getting to know somebody else. Do this by taking your new squeeze to all the places you went with your Ex so she will find out for sure that you are not sitting at home feeling sorry for your self. Give her something to think about.

I actually had an ex call and do that to me. I was NOT thrilled, so trust me, yours won't like it. Anyway, if it makes you feel better, a long time ago in a land far far away I was dating this girl. For now, we'll call her "bitch"....because she had a dog. ANYWAY...her birthday was January first so she wanted to do something major on New Years, then go to this stupid has mall she'd never been to (she loved to shop. Especially with my money). So we go downtown and stay at this hotel that cost me 320 for the night...did I mention the night? Yes, the NIGHT. So anyway, we have an alright time on New Years. Least I thought we were. We get up the next day. I shell out the dough for the hotel and we run off to that damn mall. Well I drive her back home (this was out of town by the way), help her carry her things back inside her house. We're just sitting there talking, then out of the BLUE she goes "you know...this just isn't working out". I was like "huh?". I was too shocked to know what to say, so I just left. After I composed myself and thought about it, I realized I was better off. Broke, but better off. THEN I realized how much her parents loved me. They'd called me, told me they were sorry and didn't understand what the hell she was thinking. I said it's okay. Then later in the week I mailed her an invoice for all the "expenses" I shelled out on her. Her parents made her pay me. THE END :D

I didn't really convey this in my previous post. I was getting to it, but anyway, just remember...for whatever the reason, you're better off. You're kick ass, and you'll stay kick ass. If your girl is willing to dump you in a way that you consider out of the blue either she doesn't appreciate who you are and what you have to offer or your relationship was seriously lacking in communication. In both instances, you are better off.

I haven't read any of the replies, but, now that she has broken up with you, insure that it is a clean break. Do not call her, be there for her, be supportive, anything. Do not attempt to purse or reconcile. Focus your energy and emotion either on yourself or on someone else besides her. If she attempts to call you, tell her you are busy and that you will call her back but don't.
