Just got back from my first interview

and it went great. The guy was cool and seems like he would be a good guy to work for. Out of about 35 applicants, they only chose 4 for an interview. Thanks to everyone for suggestions the other day. I should know by next week whether I got it or not.

Joke dude, For real though, I have been on a couple hundred interviews in my business career, sometimes I think they were great, shitty, whatever. The point is you can not tell for sure if you are the guy. Alot of co.'s today do two or three levels of interviews so keep your hopes up and also, keep looking. Nothing funner than playing one employer against the other.

Good luck dude. What I usually do is send in a thank you letter. It keeps you fresh on their mind and a good impression of you. Also, it gives you an excuse to call a few days later...

"Did you get my letter? Oh nifty, I did have one other question for you (insert crap here). Well, thanks for your time."

It worked for me. I start my new job on Tuesday. Of course there'll be much less internet time...
