For the past two week ive been experimenting with a diet. Im on a 1800 cal a day with 200g protein and little carbs. I have not been to the gym or used any steriod and im down 7 lbs. Im not giving up going to the gym or using the sauce i want to prove to myself that a healty diet can take off lbs. I got my diet from a dietitian and she put me on a 500 cal diet defecit. What do yall think of that?

Well first off if you just stopped eating carbs then its alot of water going bye bye...but obviously dieting is a key to losing weight, but how much of that is muscle, water or fat? I dropped 10 lbs last week in like 3 days after a carb up...Either way its obviously possible, just not as efficient...

I agree with what DJ said. Lowering your carbs significantly is going to make you drop a lot of water weight at first. If your diet really is that good, along with a good training and cardio program, you can lose wieght for sure.

It'll work, but I'm against strict diets in general since they're impossible to maintain. Eat clean and eat less. And move more. That's the best way to stay lean in the long run.

Working out will allow you to use the calories and nutrients more efficiently. I don't see why you aren't lifting or doing any form of cardio. Not only this, but it will keep you healthy. Especially your heart.

It really depends on your willpower. I've been on a very strict diet for two years. Most people cannot handle this though, but I see nothing wrong with having an extremely strict diet for 6 - 8 weeks to really shred up.

Like liftheavy said above, why NOT workout? Alot of that weight loss could be you naturally flattening out from not working out.

Sometimes it's not how many calories a day that counts, it's when and what those calories are. For instance, if you take in 3500 calories and are gaining fat, then the solution isn't always to drop the calories, but rather evaluate what you are eating and what timing. 1800 calories seems really low. I cut at around 2300 calories.

What was your diet and timing before you started the deficit?

Like i stated above im not going to stop working out or using the sause. I couldnt work out these last 2 weeks because of my job. In those 2 weeks, while on this diet ,i was able to lose 7 lbs. I cant wait to get back into the gym and do some cardio and workout. I need to lose 23 lbs of fat without losing any muscles. Im 233lbs with 15% bodyfat and i dont like being this heavy. My next cycle when i get down to 210 will be primobolan 400mg/week with winny at 50 mg/ed. I will do the primo for 10 weeks and the winny for 6 weeks.

If you continue on an 1800 calorie diet AND workout, I'm affraid you'll find yourself losing muscle. Just FYI.

Even while running primo and winny for 10 weeks? I dont think so! I really need to cut down and this diet is helping me to do this. I will look really good when i stack primo and winny together even if i lose a little muscles. I want so bad to be 10% bodyfat. Even if i have to get down to 200lbs.

It seems you are a pretty big guy. You can eat a lot more calories and still reach that goal. Why starve yourself when you can increase those calories by atleast 400 - 500? That would be around 2100 - 2200 calories and that is still really low. You are not feeding yourself the right nutrients to get yourself down to 10% bodyfat by eating so little calories. You need food to lose weight.

You said you're no on gear right now. You said your NEXT cycle is primo and winny. So right now, not on gear, you're losing muscle at 1800 calories a day. Just FYI.

You need to structure your calories, eat right, eat often - not cut your calories that low. Crash calorie diets don't work long term. You'd find more success in mildly lowered calories and correction of foods and addition of cardio - basically developing a lifestyle - and in the long run you'd end up losing more fat, looking better, and feeling better.

Just wait till you hit the gym at 1800 calories a day - after a week, come back and let us know how you feel...

There is no doubt diet works, and a total depletion and caloric deficiency, is good sometimes as a "shock" measure. If you've been struggling to lose the last bit of fat, you can literally starve yourself for a few days, consuming just the basic calories to survive. The effects in fat loss will be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, better than any drug in the world. You will lose muscle for sure. However, this is just a few days, there is no health risks at all, since you are consuming the basic nutrients for survival. After these days, you can restart your nutrition in an organized perfect ideal plan, and take it from there.

You need to know your carbon unit very well, and that's where most humans fail. Today, a car is more intelligent than an average human. A defective car, you plug it into a computer, and tell you where is the problem and even what needs to be done. A human, is mot of the time unable to diagnose the technical failure of its own carbon unit. And they usually "put their bodies in the hands of a doctor" and "pray to God" :faint:

you wanna lose fat, stop eating America.
