Came here back in February, and after several posts and lots of reading I learned about the 5x5 and about the benefits of gaining size through massive eating and heavy lifting. I also learned to appreciate powerlifting. Anyway I started here at just over 200 pounds and after just three intense months of 5x5 was at 232 my all time record. I also added lots of pounds to all my maxes. Then against everyone here's advice I decided to cut. I found out later that it was a waste for me at the time, because after enjoying the size and strength gains from bulking and lifting heavy I really wasnt ready to stop. So after 2 wasted months I started back bulking on August 15th. I'm now back to and past my all time body weight. I'm currently at 235 and 6'3", and I still have 15 pounds to go. My bodyfat from the first bulking I did went from 11% to 13.3%, and I plan to find out where I'm at today after my second round with bulking. I'm trying to reach 250 by January and would like to be less than 15% fat. I'm still eating everything in site and supplementing 2 protein shakes a day. I've stopped creatine I feel it's a waste. Any other fairly cheap supplements or strategy's to get me to my goal? I've been gaining 1.75 pounds a week average over the last 12 months. At that rate it will put me into the middle of January 2004 before I hit 250. Starting the I'd like to begin a slow cut and diet plan to get me to a very ripped 220 or 225 by June of 04'.

Sounds like you've defined your goals much better now...

Needsize I owe my routine to you, and I owe my gains and hard work to the dedication that I see on this board everyday, with PR's falling left and right.

This Board motivates the fuck out of me also!! In the few months Ive been here, Ive gotten majorly stronger!! So has everyone else on here!!!! Thats awesome progress bro!! Id be happy to gain in one year, what you gain in 2 months!! Awesome!! I would say keep bulking!! Dont FUCKING look back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cutting is for looks!!!

Great stuff bro - what's your daily food consumption look like and how many days a week are you training 4? Any cardio?

Hey Cobra - Congrats on all the progress! This board is the best.

Question - What is your diet like? How are you making such great weight gains and keeping the fat count down?

I've been making good weight gains too, but unfortunately my fat gains are also pretty impressive. Heh. I've gone from a 30' waist to a 34 in just under a year and I'm not happy with that.

i swear WB is on speed 24/7 LOL

haha ThanX Rj!!!!! Yea Im jacked 24/7!!!!!!! 7 hours of lifting and Im still going wild. haha Its everyone staring at me in the grocery store that really gets me in a hostile mood!! hahahahahahah ThanX!!!!!!

I've been eating like a horse everyday. I can't really say exactly what my calorie intake is because I don't count I just eat. I have a big breakfast followed by a brunch to get me to my lunch meal. Then after lunch I have a mid afternoon snack to get ready for my workout at 5. After the lifting I have a protein shake and dinner, then later another small meal and finally another protein shake right before bed. Plus anytime I'm not having actual meals and stuff I'm looking for things laying around to eat, I snack like I always have the munchies. I've gone up plenty in bodyfat. I did get my bodyfat checked the day of this post and it was clear up to 14.5% now which was a bit of a shock because it's far and away much more than I ever thought I'd be but still not that bad. My strength on all my exercises is well worth it.
