How many of you were scared off your ass most of your life when steroids were brought up to you, or if they were offered. THEN, one day you get the balls to do it. And then DOING it is "the best thing ever." Then you hit a point where you're asking yourself, why the hell did I ever start this? Wish I hadn't, pointless? Anyone? Maybe 1% of the posters here compete so that's their reason for saucing. But explain to me how those of you who don't compete and use can KNOW for SURE that you are doing EVERYTHING you can do to prevent permanent side effects from use?
For a guy trying to bash, whether indirect or direct, the members, you do spend a great deal of time in the AAS forum. The only reason anyone is scared of steroids is because of the hype the government, the schools, your parents, and the media put forth. The spew lies and more lies, and instead of educating people on how to take it properly, they tell you its bad and thats that. Theres to much money to be made by the government by keeping steroids illegal with drug busts and stings and such, but many countries allow for their use. How does anyone know, especially professional bodybuilders, that they are doing everything to prevent possible side effects. Am I killing my liver more than the average 21 year old college student binge drinking 3-4 nights a week? Am I destroying my cardiovascular health more than the guy next to me smoking 1 pack a day of cigarettes? Am I hurting myself more than the fat slob eating McDonalds 2-3 times a week?
Show me a study about the long term side effects that you have based your arguments on, and I will humbly back down. Until then, I'm going to keep on using it the way I feel is safe.
