taking hcg thru-out a cycle (thats a big assumption seeing how this was only a 3 wk cycle) will help your body retain your nuts. Taking 250iu over 500iu isnt that much more beneficial (i've seen some write-ups about certain AAS like this as well).
Problems i c w/ this study...
1.) doesnt mention anything about LH desensatation
2.) lenght of cycle
these doses of T inhibit gonadotropin secretion within 2–3 d of administration (maybe then start HCG on first pin or 2-3 days afterward instead of waiting 2-3 wks {im assuming the "d" means days}
Exogenous TE (200 mg weekly) has also been shown to reduce sperm production to azoospermic levels in approximately 70% of Caucasian men
Likely because it doesnt happen. I say this because everyone who touts desensitization bases it on a study where where large doses of HCG where used. Cant remember specifics but it was like 2000IU, then after 6 months they bumped dose to 2500IU and so no additional benefit and from that everyone seems to be drawing the conclusion that they are desensitized.
Correlation does NOT equal causation and I can think of half a dozen reasons why adding more HCG to an already super high dose may not trigger more T production.
This was by all means not directed towards you. I actually agree with a lot of what you share with the members of this forum.
I was banned for mouthing off at a mod during a debate, however, insults were flying in both directions. That is besides the point. The point is that I posted a clinical study done by the University of Texas that clearly illustrated SERM therapy was effective at reversing premature andropause due to anabolic steroid use. The unfortunate part about the banning was that all traces of this relevant study were removed from the site.
To be honest, it doesn't really matter anymore. Nelson and I simply interpret these results differently. He says this does not show proof of recovery, I say it does.
Full study attached if anyone is interested in drawing their own conclusions.
