Melinda should have won. She is by far the best.

Everything she sang sounded the same. She wasn't versatile. She would make country sound very jazzy or bluesy. Her marketability isn't very good by her physical appearance. Look at Carry Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. Both attractive and both are selling millions of albums. I think it is a sad truth. Britney Spears is a descent singer but not great by any means and she sold tons of albums due to her appearance.

in fact a few times I wished she did some younger stuff. she has a great voice though- i want her to win.
