just moved to Jax myself from TX. I already miss my accessibility to the border. Haven't found a gym I like yet. But I am more of a small hardcore leave me the hell alone gym kinda person

I moved from TX. to jax a couple of years ago but had to get out, now I'm down in S. Fl. alot better. Jax is just full of ignorant peaple. Bailey's Powerhouse is the best gym there , especially the one at the beach. The DEA is all over that city right now. Don't trust anyone at the gyms and they watch the mail there real close especially coming from TX going to P.O. boxes

Damn that is rough man I had enough gear for my current cycle but since I recently decide to stay on year round. I will be making a 20 hr run for the border in a month or two.

Stop in Louisiana and Fed Ex it to yourself, that way you don't have to make the drive with it inyour car and the package won't be from Tx. also a Tx plate on your car on I-10 headed for Fl, or Fl. tags headed from Tx.is a profile the cops are watching for. Don't trust any one in Jax. they don't have that sme code your friends inTx. had your used to dealing with.

forget G'ville Health & Fitness- it's more of a 'spa'
If you want a real blood, sweat & tears gym- guys chewing on 45lb plates, etc...go to Pete's Gym down on 6th. Serious lifting daily. Lots of competitors.

Pete's Gym closed down, at least a year ago. Now the only really hardcore gym in town is Gainesville gym. Never tried Orion but heard good things about it. GH&F is a meat market, but if you're only interested in looking at all the college chicks then that's the place for ya.
