He does that to me all the time because I am a "sick faggot".

I'm used to all sorts of hate karma from gay bashers on here. Things like:

Sometime back I did complain to the mods, but George said because I wasn't a platinum member it wasn't in their interests to follow it up. They've since changed the karma system to show who sends it, so things are a bit better now.

I left EF for six months until things settled down. I still get the gay bashing, but the site is a bit better now. Apparently "nigger" is an offensive word that may not be used, but "faggot" isn't as bad, so its ok to use :rolleyes:

Even the moderators do it.
Considering a poll showed about 1/3 of the people on the board are gay or bisexual,
it's no wonder only about 6 of us are open about it.
 
Actually, I never get any red karma nor offensive gay words in my karma notes. last red karma I got was from dumbass Frackal, and that was the first red since the karma tracking went into effect.

I think everyone has realized I ain't gay.

Absolutely, aside from satisfying my health and fitness needs, I have built up several important friendships. I would treat those people the same way in real life as I do on the internet.
 
This place provides a wealth of fitness, diet, competition, and supplementation information. God, I can't BEGIN to tell you what I have learned because of the openness of the Between the Sheets Board. And Chat... what can I say? It sometimes becomes a zoo... but for the most part anytime my life was shitty I could come here and either vent or DEFINITELY find laughter.

This site has changed my life in ways that are too numerous to mention.

It depends on how many complaints we get from new members, current members, moderators, etc. In this case, this was voted on and action was taken after recieving a total of 15 complaints, and him recieving warnings from moderators as well as myself.
 
I have negative 12 complaints since i discuss such informative information.

I may be new here but it really seems that maybe that may not be the best way for anyone to determine who should and shouldn't be banned. I mean seriously, this is a chat and conversation board and conversation consists of insults and arguments that sometimes get heated.

Of course I'm new so my opinion doesn't mean much yet. I'll get back to this one in a year ot two.

If this does not seem like a good way to decide how to ban someone, then what would you suggest?

I have been a member here for a few and most agree that though chat may have always been somewhat of a tank of sharks THERE WERE ALWAYS LIMITS and MOSTLY EVERYBODY KNEW THEM. If an ASSHOLE crossed the line they were gone IN SECONDS SOMETIMES and nobody shed a tear. There was no vote, no discussion - shoot first and ask questions later. And the boards were a much better place for them. Most of the members who have been here for years tend to be of this opinion.

But even this is only an opinion and they are like assholes... everybody's got one. LOL

I respect the fact that everyone has a right to be treated decently and with respect, but I also think it helps to have a thick skin in this world. I would have had more respect for you had you just shrugged it off.


I was banned at another board not too long ago because I told a 190 lb-er that he was an idiot for taking 3 grams of gear.

We live in a litigious society. I just wish people were a little tougher, and a little thicker of skin sometimes. Again, I respect your right to not be harassed, but I think you could just have easily ignored him and not tried to get him banned.

I'm sure you'd find that probably MANY more people than the mere 15 who complained (especially those that have been here for a long time) would rather see him around than to be banned.

Word of advice-you are starting to alienate many long-time members here .
 
Yes you are correct in that we are getting rid of a few long term members. Some of these members should have been let go a LONG time ago as well.

We have not enforced our rules as much as we should have for the last few years (here on chat as it is the only problem board). But now we are.

Most of these "long term members" spent time and our money posting on this site for free. They used and learned from the wealth of knowledge that is Elite Fitness, for free. So I guess since they spent years here and broke most of our rules, and never spent a cent, we owe them something? Come on, this is a business, we need to run it like one.

Yes, I do understand what it is to have a business, but alienating the people who really made the chat an interesting place to contribute and to be a part of is not the way to keep members here.
The anabolics board is understandably the staple of the site, but I think the chat has made it the success that it has been. I know the reason I stuck around was the not only that I could get good training/diet info, but I could talk to people with similar interests in a 'free and open environment". Unfortunately, it is not as free nor as open, and in my opinion I think it'll hurt you in the end.

LOL nah I signed up via paypal, and a few months later I had to cancel my credit card because I lost at it a bar. This, in turn, cancelled the payments to elite.

I was never very good at math, but I dont see the need to go over my bank statements every month and look for money that shouldnt be there. I can keep track of what I spend all on my own.

Youll notice that at the bottom of the post, it says he went back and edited it....that was the day hhajdo, sk*, and I brought this up on the open boards (we were inclined to do so because he cut-and-paste another article and said it was his opinion concerning dbol in the am I believe).

However, if you scroll down to one of his responses which he neglected to edit/delete, he clearly states that he has expressed HIS thoughts on the subject based on HIS research.

I spoke to Andy13 about this since I respect him and he has helped me out personally in the past, and he said he had heard rumors of this, but didnt feel like bringing it up.

Not everone knows the deal since you always lock/delete threads about it.

I doubt I have the necessary 15 complaints against me...so if I am banned it will definately be unjustly...and everyone will realize it.

I was a platinum paying member who has made it clear I would pay for the time I did not pay for. I have contributed more to this board than you ever will. Perhaps instead of advising the members of the benefits of "Finance 101", one should express this on the mod board.

There was an issue with Elite and Paypal, and I don't think that Almighty and I were the only ones to benefit from the snafu.

I tend to notice when a charge shows up, not when one is absent.

Turn down the lights in your parents basement, you obviously cant see the computer screen.

It was a mere oversight....one for which I have publicly offered to remedy by paying for the "privelages" (even though all I did was post as a normal member.)
