it's a bit of an upset special,but I give the Jets more of a chance than most fans
certainly would take the nine
 
so far the Pitt guy caught his Int while the Jet guy dropped his

i dont think his was a money line bet i think it was a pt spread bet, and i think a moneyline bet is the way to go with the rams game

I signed up at a sportsbook,but they wouldn't fuckin' accept a DEBIT card
thats right,my money in my bank account
because it's still a visa card and tied to bank of america
so fuck it
 
if I still gambled I would have actually been in good shape with this game. as much as I think the steelers will win this game I thought 9 points was WAY too much. especially when they showed rothlesburger wincing everytime he threw the ball in pregame warmups.

yeah a lot of places wont let you do that, its the banks and credit card companies fault, most you have to send them money to set up an account

I don't like money lines
another version of a sucker bet lite,though used very specifically can payoff handsomely
the play on this game was to take the Rams plus 7 early
knowing many would beat the line down to 6 or +6.5
and then take Atlanta minus 6
good middle op with TD offenses
things may be different now with online betting
when I played I had two bookies
you shopped for better lines
a +.5 or +1 here and there adds up over the course of a season

i got a parlay bet going with 6 teams and i'm 2 wins away from winning 400 only betting 5 bucks
 
e.g. in the above game I was very,very comfortable with NY +9
I could have been enticed with the "sexy" payoff of a money line
but I would have stood with what I was most comfortable with and wagered accordingly
and won
those that would have taken NY+9 and taken them on the money line would have attrited their correct opinion

but you have to take my word for it

i'm talking about myself.. my own 5 dollar parlay bet with 9 nba teams with a chance to win 400.. i'm saying its fun to follow the nba games and hope that certain team wins etc.. and that 5 dollars is nothing to me..

whoa what an ass beating by the falcons. that's why I don't bet anymore. I'd put a certain amount on a game I really liked, a game that just called for me to bet... like the jets game. then I'd go and bet on a game I didn't like so much.. like the rams, I'd lose and be down in the money. I miss gambling on sports, but it took a while to realize I wasn't as good as I thought, especially when I went on a bad run and lost a LOT of money. learned a hard lesson.
