They give you a link to sites that host the patches, upgrading to 1.2 fixes a lot of bugs in the tactical battles.

Urban Dictionary's description of poon:

1. Poonana is a little girls vagina 0-13.
2. Poonani A teenagers vagina 13-20.
3. Poontang a mature womans vagina (quite good) 20-35.
4. Poonono an old vagina often with large muff 35-110.

Damn I never knew Sega made that series.
mainly the distributor..Creative Assembly is the design company. They used the "Rome:Total War" engine for a couple documentary television programs.

"Prior to its release, a preliminary but completely workable version of the game engine was used in two series of TV programs: Decisive Battles by the History Channel where it was used to recreate famous historical battles, and Time Commanders by BBC Two, where teams of novice nongamers commanded ancient armies to replay key battles of antiquity. The game engine was fine tuned specifically for these television shows by military historians for maximum historical accuracy."

You need a directx 9.0c 128MB hardware accelerated video card with shader 1 support and the latest drivers. They recommend an nvidia geforce ti 4400 or the ati radeon 9600 se.

I played a demo on PS3 similar to that called Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War. It was pretty cool.

That's the nice thing about PC's. No changing discs after install. Poor Xbox 360.

For sure. They like all that power. All that RAM. Especially with updated drivers.

But really would you consider this the best strategy game of the current flock? I'm looking for a good one when I build my new PC in a month or two.

Honestly, it's my addiction. They have a good tactical model and "real" tactics make a difference. If you play the tac battles you'll beat the AI...no problem....they have an online community if you want to face real competition.
I prefer the short campaign game because it is more realistic based on the objectives of the time period... :)

I've heard Age of Empires III is also good.
