Jason "Mayhem" Miller's UFC56 Predictions

Funny stuff from the weirdo MMA competitor.

Check it out here.

Anyone else for predictions?

My wins:

-Quarry (I think Quarry is underated, and Rich is over rated. IMO.)
-Hughes (But just barely. This could go either way, quickly)
-St. Pierre (A canuck has to pick another canuck, even if he's French.)
-Horn (Horn is too ssolid, and probably still pissed about his last loss)
-Newton (Newton is a karateka. I have a soft spot for the tradionalists.)

lol@ battle of the male models.
I was wondering whatever happened to Jeff Newton. That souuld be a good one.
I'm going to go with;
Rich Franklin
Hughes
St. P
Jeremy Horn
Newton
The remaining fights- haven't seen any of those guys before.

Yea that sucks for Riggs- What's weird is that he kept gaining weight when he tried to cut. I hope this doesn't make the fight less intense now since it's suddenly not for the title.

P.S. Mike I couldn't help myself from staring at your avatar for like a minute straight

Rich Franklin vs. Nate Quarry
Matt Hughes vs. Joe Riggs
Georges St. Pierre vs. Sean Sherk
Jeremy Horn vs. Trevor Prangley Tough one
Jermy fight a lot but does not impress me in the big shows.
Kevin Jordan vs. Gabriel Gonzaga Have never seen either guy fight but Jordan has fought some very tough guys and has a better record so I am going with him.
Sam Hoger vs. Jeff Newton
Nick Thompson vs. Keith Wisniewski
Thiago Alves vs. Ansar Chalangov

Rich Franklin vs. Nate Quarry
Franklin by a vicious 1st round kockout. My opinion has totally changed on Rich now.

Matt Hughes vs. Joe Riggs
Hughes with a nice Kimura, but we all saw that coming.

Georges St. Pierre vs. Sean Sherk
GSP by pure domination. He's next in line against Hughes, and that'll be a fight to see!

Jeremy Horn vs. Trevor Prangley
Horn by decision, but very controversial. Should have been Prangley, and Horn even said it to him. Horn did nothing but defend on his back the whole time. For a guy with a huge record like his, i wonder who he's fought all these years???

Kevin Jordan vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
Gonzaga with a nice 3rd rounnd knockout, but fuck, what a slow fight to watch.

Sam Hoger vs. Jeff Newton
Hoger by RNC. I'm surprised Newton even fights in the UFC, after that showing. I'm pretty sure we won't see him again.

Nick Thompson vs.Keith Wisniewski
Wasn't televised.

Thiago Alves vs. Ansar Chalangov
Alves by ref stop. Alves will be one to watch in the welterweights.

Pretty decent fights overall. I wasn't too impressed with the bullshit WWF-type show that Dana put on with his announcement of next seasons TUF coaches, Ortiz and Shamrock. I mean, leave the bad acting to the bad actors.

And do we really need to see Chuck fight Randy again? C'mon. The UFC needs more depth in the heavyweight classes.

Too bad I missed it.
Tito & Shamrock as TUF coaches. I'll watch. (well, I would've watched anyway).
The rubber match of Randy-Chuck is Dana's proud offering to the world in hopes of generating the drama of boxing-industry rivalries.

Yeah, UFC is becoming way too comercial: they are just constantly plugging all their event & shows throughout these ppv events. We just wanna see fights.
