aww sounds more like PCL to me.. but you will not know till you get an MRI
Just let it heal it will still be ok to walk on.. the problems would come over time.
Most jobs give you insurance. U dont have to say you did it at work. but you would have to say you did it after you had gottin the insurance.
I tore my ACL playing basketball.. I had insurance from my work I did not say i did it at work and my insurance paid most of it.
So my advise is to just wait till you get insurance just dont tell them you did it 6 months ago when you insurance was just activated yesterday..

and the problem with tearing a ligament is that it puts more strain on other ligaments and tendons. and it will cause your knee joint to loosen a little. so dont do anthing stupid.. as long as there is not to much cartliage damage. you should be ok as far as getting back to 100% after surgery.. and if it is your ACL or what ever dont do the pellar tendon graph.. there are better ways now
