i know the best solution for thiis question is to just wait, but this is the first time i have been really bulking then cutting, i used to always to maintnence, and i want to know waht to anticipate in how much weight i will prolly lose if i am at 180 lbs around 15 % bf and want to get down to 8 %, i was guessing around 25 is this about right, and also since im losing a lot of weight like this will i lose a ton of strenght on like bench and stuff, do u guys lose like 20 lbs or so on your max if u drop a lot of weight like this?

I believe so, there will be slight decrease in what you can lift and the type of intensity you give each workout. This generally has little to do with the amount of weight that you lost. It has more to do with less carbs you eat during your cutting cycle.

I'm with him.....it doesn't really matter how much weight you loose. It's the amount of carbs daily that will hinder your strength. Other than that.....you're good to go (strength wise)!!!

What I've always noticed when cutting is that - yes, even though my strength diminishes somewhat - I still get excited to hit the gym because of how lean and toned I start to look....so the one thing compensates for the other as far as motivation is concerned. When I start to see my abs I don't mind being somewhat humble and knocking a few pounds off my bench!! Stick with it - you'll look great before you know it!
