Who's pounding the food this Thursday? Anybody cutting and passing on the gravy? I'm thinking of starving myself from now until then so I can slam about 3/4th's of the 5 gallon drum of mom's mashed potatoes and gravy

I will definitely have a feast on Thursday...I will eat white meat, no dark...I'll have some sweet potatoes, stuffing, small amount of gravy, and some green bean caserole....I will also drop about 1g of R+ in the process :p

I'm not a big gravy man to begin with, so no problem there. I'll pound away the meat, but will try to stay away from the sweets. ~800mg of rALA should take care of any stray unwanted carbs, and the meat will provide the protein. I'm set.

I am going to feast away. I will probably be approaching the 2g range of R-ala. Lets see, 100mg = 30 carbs, so I should be set for 600 carbs, mmm...

honestly..if you slam...and take a g of R-Ala, how much do you really think you'll gain from one day of all out feasting on whatever you want?

That's a very, very individual thing... for example, if you eat 800 grams of fructose or something, no amount of r-ALA will help you.

I know that ALA is a glucose transporter in high dosages, but what exactly will the R - ALA do? I hope this makes since.

definitively not a good idea

Starving will make you enter in a catabolic state (you'll lose lean mass)
then eating like a pig will make you gain fat
so in the end you will lose muscle and gain fat !

I'm going out to dinner with friends and I'm going to enjoy myself!! Turkey & trimmings, dessert & wine.

joking about starving bro.......lol......but, I will be pounding! I figure, I'll just go train Legs in the morning......

we are deepfrying our turkey this year. there's no doubt that I wont go all out and eat everything in sight. I have a workout planned sometime before the feast, this seems to make me verrrrrry hungry.

I plan on working off my turkey in the morning...and enjoying the food in the evening!

gobble, gobble!

EVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody partying tonight? Figure I'll hit cardio at 8am tomorrow....go eat breakfast..........train legs areound noon...slam a shake....and be ready to grub all night long starting about 2:30.......Only having three meals tomorrow...uh oh..............but the third may last a solid 12 hours.....

woohoo!

Luckily I'm bulking. Actually this was a strategic thing, considering I tend to bring my own shovel to any holiday meal.
I'll be at my wife's family's, which is cool, because its a fairly large gathering and that just means more food.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :) :wavey: :chomp:

We got to remember to post everything we eat and give a reward to the bro that eats the most............and NO BULLSHITTING.....

C'mon guys, some of u dont know how to live. Relax enjoy the family and more importantly the food. I am gonna cram as much food as possible. I stay lean year round and have always eaten what I want once a week.. So splurging is good. My problem is that I would choose to eat 3 servings of pies and sweets than the turkey and dressing thing..
Anywho, happy thanksgiving...................

I'm pigging out myself. Just got to my mom and dad's in Houston.. and started eating. I've been on 2500 calories of nothing but ground beef, lettace and flax seed oil for a the last few days, and trained by back and thighs twice yesterday to get myself depleted enough to make it through the feast without gaining any body fat. I've gotten myself under 10% and have been maintianing it very well for over a month, so I have no intention of fattening back up. The goal for me is to stay lean, year round from now on.
