That person. After hanging out with different friends on vacation I can tell who are my real friends and also who are selfish slobs. When you stay in close quarters with someone there is no way of hiding who you truly are. It's a real eye opener when you take a GF on vaca as well and they turn into crazy bitches real quick. Not all chicks, but I've experienced that before as well. I'm very straight up, what you see is what you get type of guy. It's not realistic to think everyone be the same way, but it's a major piss off and I hope I don't to deal with shit like this in the near future. Rant ........................ over

Tends to scare whoever I'm with and they say sorry for things even though they don't mean it and just want to try to manipulate me. Which isn't easily done, but showing some ffort astleast helps.

I know what you mean that is why it was so interesting when my GF and I took a cruise to Mexico. She was just as cool as ever. The biggest negative for her is that it takes hours for her to get ready to go anywhere. Come on I shower throw on a shirt and shorts and lets go...
I was so happy to know she didn't turn out to be some nut case like my kids mother! LOL

I've taken four short trips with my current and one mid length vacation (five days). So far, so good! No fighting or even getting pissy with each other (except sometimes he can be a real cranky pants in the morning which is why I won't be his alarm clock anymore lol).

Well when we tell people that we (my Old Grump and I) married on our third date everyone is shocked. (As well they should be LOL) But our first date lasted TWO WEEKS as did our second. Granted, our situation is VERY peculiar... but then again - so are we.
