Its my Daughter's B-Day!

cant believe shes 5 now
being a parent has to be one of the weirdest things to do
she asked what time i was leaving work so she knew when to be ready to go out tonight
she's 5 going on 19

i explained gift certificates to her the other night, and now thats what she wants, gift certificates for the mall
and quarters for the gum ball machines

i'm so screwed when she hits the teen years.......

awww they are so cute at this age. and yes they act like adults at times. the questions they ask (a million) and the things they say. it can be fun and tiresome at the same time. gotta love kids.

I love kids. My step-sister's friends have kids so I get to show of my potential paternal skills when they come over. It's a lot of fun being the good guy.

One is 5 months. Loves to watch sports.

Another is 3 years old. I seriously didn't know they talked at that age since I don't deal with kids on a regular basis. His mom and my step sis were outside smoking and he had to go to the bathroom. I volunteered to take him so she didn't have to put out her cigarette. The little guy comes out in the hallway with his pants around his ankles, calling for his mom. Evidently he hasn't grasped the pulling up pants part yet. So I had to help him with that, and pick him up to the sink so he could wash his hands.

Where are you heading out to tonight? Enjoy her being young while it lasts. Before you know it she'll be 17-18 and hanging around people like me and the rest of the board members.

My little girl is nine and she acts the same way -- too smart for her own age.
She always had to have at least a half hour before we went anywhere so she could get ready. I sure miss her being the one who wore the pants in the house. She loved chucke cheese as well and fell in love with a new place in town called thinker toys

Chuck E Cheese was sweet
She broke the skee ball game
the little prize tickets started shooting out and wouldnt stop!
pretty funny, she ended up with almost 1,000 tickets after that, lol
i have never seen that happen before, it was a good b-day for the little one
