Its been a couple years, went from 240lb to 198

I havent been on this site much the past few years but have continued to slowly adjust my eating habits and workout routines that i read on here years ago. I was 242lbs as of summer of 07' and have been staying around 198lbs for the past few months. I have been getting leaner though and hope to just keep losing fat while gaining muscle. Here are the stats.

25yrs old
5ft. 11
198lbs
est. body fat 22%

Thanks guys! My goal is to be around 185-195 with more muscle. Im thinking if i can get lower than 15% bf at that weight i will be in pretty good shape. Just had a little mishap yesterday though thats gonna put me back a few weeks. A few years ago i pulled my lower back lifting something out of a car incorrectly, well i have had little flare ups every now and then and yesterday i pulled it again putting on my shoes of all things! This shit sucks, i have to take small steps just to walk. So no lifting now until this heals. I had it checked out a while back and they said i just needed to be careful and do certain stretches to keep it in check, i never thought i would hurt it again with something so simple.
 
Good Job man, Im on the same boat trying to get to at least 200lbs even, im 242lbs now i was losing alot of weight from fat and all of a sudden im gaining again but im happy thats its due to the muscle gains....
Keep us posted and put here on how your doing it, diet, excercise, weights, supp, etc....

PS hopefully your wife/girlfriend isn't in the last picture if so she's a real dog.

lol, no seriously good work.

where are you heading from here? more fat loss or do you wanna start putting some more muscle on that frame?

either one is a good option, just depends what your short term goals are.
 
Thanks guys! Ive been back in the gym for about 3 weeks now. Sitting at about 206lbs right now. Ive got 6 weeks to obtain my goal of 185lbs. That lower back injury really set me back but im more motivated then ever now. Just getting back to lifting the amount of weight i could before i hurt my back so thats good, im thinking 6 weeks from now should be a new me.
