ok, I'm sorta running into a wall here...I have a soccer season in the fall, and I want to be able to run to so I won't be a tired fuck up when conditioning starts. And I also want to get muscle mass by working out and eating a good diet. Now I hear all this talk about doing cardio will have you lose weight but will also make you lose muscle mass. Now I know people will think "well you won't very fast if you are gonna be big. You have to be small and quick." Well it's my last season and I highly doubt I'm gonna go professionally into the sport. I just want to play out this last season and have fun with my friends. So how do you recommend I approach this issue? I'm 160 lbs. right now and my goal is to get to 180 lbs. starting from May to probably August. Should I just stick to eating a good diet and workout, as well as run a few miles and steadily increase to more miles throughout the summer? All I want is to gain muscle without losing it because of running, and still have high endurance for soccer. Any help is apreciated greatly.
 
you're gonna have to eat, eat, eat, eat, and eat

you may not get to 180, but you may be able to get to like 170 and then really pack it on after soccer is done

still have to eat n train correctly
i've know guys who have used large amounts of gear but didnt do jack shit, and all they got were pimples on their backs and thinner wallet
 
I know with people using steroids adn the effects of it on the body, but I heard if you use it periodically, like let's say in a 6-10 week cycle once a year, that it won't effect you, like the hormones and shit, but will help with the gains...having a safer way of using it, along with dieting and the works.

You heard wrong
 
9 years of training and I still havent hit AAS. Id reccomend reaching your natural potential first before starting the AAS. I think that way youll get the most out of it if and when you do. If 180 is your ultimate goal AAS isnt neccesary. Unless your in a big rush to get there.
 
whoa whoa whoa first of all I never said I was going to use them, and second that was just a sarcastic comment. All i wanted help on is what would the best way to get somewhat of a little mass on without losing it do to running.

Push overall caloric intake to 3000-3500 cal/day... and start doing POWER CLEANS!!!
