Plate is my real screen name. The only real thing that I feel Israel may provide is some Intelligence and I dont feel the that is worth the price we pay to support them.

a couple random points or questions:

* this thread is confusing. it seems as if people have deleted their posts and people responded to them prior to deleting them

* egypt is a dictatorship, yet the US is in bed with the egyptians. I thought the US was all about supporting democracy. Then why do we finance the egyptians? Hypocracy in action. egypt imprisons and murders many religious figures, yet we give China all kinds of shit for the same crimes. No wonder why the US is so popular in egypt.

* I keep hearing about arabs being able to vote in isreali elections. Can you go into more detail? I've never heard of this except on Elite. Do the arabs in the occupied territories get to vote too? Do the jewish settlers in the occupied territories get to vote in isreali elections since technically the don't live in isreal? How many arabs actually reside in isreal?

* The US can't let go of it's ally. That would be wrong. We need to stay loyal to our friends. Just as long as they're not named Noriega or the Shah. But I digress.

I guess I missed something.

We support egypt as part of a peace agreement reached between Israel and Egypt. Each get the same foreign aid from us, dollar for dollar. This was done to mitigate our appearance of bias in the Middle East. Guess it failed.

Israeli citizens, who are Arabs, may vote in Israeli elections.

u said the ANC should have all its members killed. i was saying all the followers of apartheid should by that rationale. thats all

lots of white people died. however most of them are probably due to winnie ......
