However, when you look at it as a "people thing" like you and me, it seems to be very two sided. Alot of conservatives tend to think Jews are terrorist and are to blame, yes like ted turner, and liberals think that jewish support is 100% the way-it-should-be...

There are many conservatives that whole heartedly support isreal. Namely the religious right. 60 minutes ran a great piece on Jerry Falwell and his followers unconditional support of Israel. These people are very dangerous and will get everyone killed because of their stupid beliefs.

Remember the oil tanker in Yemen? French, right. France is no Israel supporter. There was a statement made that perpetrators were pleased that they were able to blow up that "Christian oil tanker".

What Americans often fail to realize is that we are not being targeted for our support of Israel. The extremists that are doing this will attack American interests whether or not we are supporting Israel - it will only make their goal of destroying Israel that much easier.

Explain the 2 plots recently discovered to kill the Pope. The Catholic church is about as anti-Jew as it gets, through history.

If we stop supporting Israel, attacks against America and the west will not stop . And you are believing the Islamic extremist propaganda machine if you think otherwise.

The extremsist factions fromwhcihterrorists are culled hate their own governments as much as they hate America or Israel.

Cheaper gas? LOL! Supply and demand plus production capacity are the only things affecting gas prices. Most oil producing nations (including #1 Saudi Arabia) cannot afford to slow production one drop a day. They need to money to keep extremists at bay.

I still find it amazing as to how clueless some people are regarding the situation in Israel.

Anyways, Israel gets:

1. Aid in the BILLIONS from the US.

Now, these are supposed to be loans w/ a low rate of interest.
Funny thing is the haven't paid a cent of them. Not even the
interest.

2. Military technology

Now this one really pisses me off.
I'm an engineer and I hate it when people just rip off patents.
The US has given Israel an inordinate amount of extremely
high technology.
For example:

1. All the new parts for the F-15's and -16's
Including the NEW and improved avionics packages.

Every time a new improved version comes out, Israel
gets the parts almost automatically.

2. Radar technology rivaling that of the SPG-62 Radar(Spy 1)
on board the Aegis class of ships.

3. Design specifications for all kinds of surface to surface and surface to air missileas. Also, air to air. And the kicker:
The phoenix Long range Mach 5 air to air missile.

All free of charge........LOL

If I were american, I sure would be pissed.

3. Intelligence Gathering

The Mossad gets pretty much all of the intel gathered by the CIA, NSA, DIA,NDA and several other agencies.
What does the Mossad give them: Nothing.

Worst of all, Israel is a country where the CIA is not allowed
to interfere. Yep, not allowed to spy on because its frowned
upon by the administration. Why? Because they are being
influenced by the jewish lobby.
Does the Mossad spy on the US? YES.

In fact they just got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.
A 100 PERSON SPY-RING(Yep, you read that right. 100 people.
1-0-0 people) got caught selling sensitive info to ENEMIES
of the US.

Now, if the mossad agents gave the info back to the Mossad, then
Israel could say it was protecting its national security.

But alas no, it sold the information to enemies of the USA. Yep.
And they're probably still going at it.

Does this seem like a friendly nation state? No.

Its always take with Israel. And thats why people do not like them.

They keep slapping the hand that feeds them(The US) and sooner or later the hand will no longer be there.

Israel actually provides the US with a lot of OUR military technology, not vice versa. An engineer like you should appreciate that. Moreover, a Brit like you should really appreciate teh jews who invented the atomic bomb, sparing the UK from German annexation. (Inevitable if the Nazis got the bomb first)

Since you haven't served in the US services I will spare you the long talk. A lot of our cutting edge stuff is Israeli designed, especially in the area of urban combat equipment.

As for buying weapons, I'm popping your bubble there too. Saudi Arabia has spent $270BILLION on American made weapons since the end fo the Gulf war, over 10 times what israel spends. Most of what Saudiboughtis planes and tanks, with teh same cuting edge avionics that the Israelis have.

FYI US arms manufacturers have guidelines as to what they can and cannot sell to other nations. Israel and Saudi are classified the same for those purposes, and are entitled to buy the same systems. All the stuff you mentioned is available for purchase by Saudi Arabia and other friendly nations.

Was that spy ring an agency ofteh Israeli government? Or was it a coroporation with no governmental affiliation.

Cambodia was not a first world nation that organized a system elimination of a certain group of people. Germany was.

Cambodia was not pulling resources off of the front lines of the biggest war in human history to carry out genocide. Germany was.

Cambodia was not a leading science nation at the time. Germany was. Cambodia did not run its top scientists out of the country or region during their genocide. Germany did. Ironically, Einstein and Oppenheimer could have won the war for Germany.

What happened in Cambodia was thrid wolrd slaughter that goes on all the time. Tragic but hardly unprecedented. The Holocaust was a systematic genocide by a major world power, literally at the expense of winning the war.
