ISOTREX Gel users...results?

Hey fellas,

For those of you who have used ISOTREX for acne, what were your results like? I just ordered up some, and was curious to see if you bros have had good results with it. I have read only a couple posts about it.

Already on Doxycilyne(sp?), and no results yet after almost 2 months. Wanted to try something else before I step up to Accutane (mainly because of the side effects I have been reading about)

Any feedback?

accutane has no unbareable sides, isotrex works okay, but it takes a while and depending on the surface area your working with, u have to cover the whole area with gel, not just one or 2 bumps, but the shit works, also depending on the severity, accutane works faster and hasnt let me down yet

Im using Isotrex right now, been on that shit for 4 days, it seems to be working ok, I´m using it in my face, only once a day at night after i shower, i have to test it some more so i can be sure it works ok, but i guess you made a good purchase. good luck and keep us posted on the results

Thanks fellas for the feedback. I was hoping it wasn't a waste of $$$.

Plus I wanted to order the gel first to see if anything actually came. Then I will order Accutane if the gel actually comes.

Accutane and ISOTREX combo should defeat all acne! hahahahaahah

I used it and had to give it up due to the rash it caused me - I must have experienced some allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. However, I would like to point out that just because it's a topical application doesn't mean it won't have systemic (side)effects; it gave me the same dried lips as the oral Accutane. Didn't do blood tests but it would be safe to assume that at least part of Accutane's notorius liver stress will be caused while using Isotrex.

I've been using it for 2 months on my chest. Now way to say if it works or not until after my next cycle when I'd normally break out. It's normal to have a ras type response in the area you are treating...I had a rash for the first 4-6 weeks. It's important to keep using it for at least 8 weeks for results. I was able to do my stomach and chest 2x ED for ~8 weeks with 2 20g tubes...not bad for $50. In case you weren't aware, Isotrex IS accutane...same active ingredient as the oral tabs.
