I have one question

after reading this document http://www.muscleoverload.com/Articles/suppl.shtml
I was left wondering what people did in terms of mixing thier powder with liquids , I generally use grape juice since it is a low Glycemic index sugar as the article suggests that you should take your protein with, but do people who are gutting eat a sugary food every now and then so thier 98% whey p[rotein isolate doesn't turn into glucose?

Also if you use glucorrel-R, which will pump glucose to muscles , can this accelerate your protein going down the tubes?

answer to first question: no
unless the whey is the only food taken in
then if needed body can break protein down into glucose

answer to second question: no

with respect to grape juice: this MAY be low glycemic- though generally its not- it is generally loaded with either sugar or high fructose corn syrup.

with respect to post workout (where glucose is needed immeadiately- dextrose and isolate (with whatever flavoring or milk) should be followed by a meal 1.5 to 2hrs- also taking some low glycemic carbs (oats or other- after your shake will maintain glucose levels and eliminate any glucose reduction of protiens)

note-glucorell will reduce insulin secretion and should decrease insulin mediated reduction of proteins to glucose.

as a note- taking your shake with milk and/or casein (including but not limited to micellar casien) will provide slower digesting protein- however its the carbs and insulin that are the issue with respect to glucose reduction- hence why low glycemic and SLOW digesting carbs- fibrous- are best for keeping blood glucose from dropping to levels where proteins are catabolised to make glucose.

looks good, but remeber too much fructose is BAD. Fructose can be stored as fat without insulin.

as a note- IMHO dextrose with whey is best post workout- its an anabolic and glycogenic window of opportunity.

unfortunately, due to a unforeseen (and unreported  ) shipping and subsequent manufacturing delay, ISO-AGB 5lb will not be available until the second week of january.
