I doubt that. Most of my classmates have a starting salary of $160k. I'm going into public interest, so my starting will only be a quarter of that, but I'm pretty sure I wont starve.
It is interesting seeing the BigLaw kids who thought their lives were set totally freak out because all of the layoffs and rescinded offers. I might have just lucked out with my offer.

You can google BIGLAW for an idea of what it is and how it works.

BIGLAW is something only available to the top 14 or so law schools in the country. You cannot go to a TTT LS with a 3.2/156 and have any chance at BIGLAW.

i used to live in south carolina and was always shocked by the number of attorneys that were in that state. Huge good ole boy networks of attorneys. I always wondered how they all managed to make any sort of living
