My old gym was after my ex went and told EVERYBODY that I was a cheatin' ho so to divert attention from his own RETARDED behavior and so that people would feel sorry for him.

As for my gym (it's actually a gym , not a 'fitness club' ) it's pretty much free from all that gossip and stuff, thank god. Unless they gossip and I just don't know about it

There are cliques at my gym, but I don't talk to anyone while I'm there so it doesn't matter to me.

It's kind of funny though -- every so often, some skinny dude will suddenly gain 30 lbs in 6 weeks, and then shrink back down in a month. There's all kinds of whispering about "those evil steriods" when that happens. lol

When I am at the gym at 5AM every day I don't talk to anyone and they don't talk to me. We are all there for one reason....getting our pump on.

At 6PM the same gym is a meat rack where the rats travel in packs.

I stick to 5AM

they seem to all be friendly in the weights section at least, only talk to each other between sets and even then not that often and crucially

most keep their distance from people lifting weights......ahhhh...bliss

downside is the roof leaks and all the weights are getting rusty and cleared away less and less but what the hey.


downside is the people at the kiosk. friendly but its always worrying when some guy whos like 21 or somehing flirting with a very young looking girl and not paying any attention to whats up in the gym

Yes....I train at Bally's so there are groups of housewives in their spandex chatting it up all the time....lots of prissy chicks there too that just do a few crunches and 10 minutes on the treadmill and call that a workout....today there was some "full-makeup, perfect hair" chick laying on the ab bench talking on the cell phone!! Just laying there chatting it up, while people are waiting for the damn thing....is that necessary??

i usally lift in war paint, tassles and no shirt so i am rarely approached

I workout at two gyms one in ont, one in my hometown.

and the one in my hometown is not really a gossip central but just a show off places,
really piss me off.
