now to answer the original q yes my gym is that way,the front desk people gossip,the manager gossip,and people stand around on phones and all kinds of shit,i just go in lift and get out,i told off a pretty big guy one day for standing around talking and i asked to use a flat bench and he snapped,im like wow buddy,then i go to find the other flat bench and his shit is piled all on it,fucking asshole

Yes big time, the morning crew is the 45 and over crowd talking about where their kids are going to college, blah blah... The night crowd is even worst, people sitting around on all the machines and benches complaining about their jobs. Maybe it's time to find a new gym

You have to make your gym hardcore. Start snarling and farting during sets. Then scream at the mirror "Who da Man!?".
