Your beliefs are your own and a very personal issue, no slams. Just don't treat beliefs as science, that's all I ask; Faith and science are antithetical.

Most don't waste their time worrying about things like that. ID is gaining more credibility, but it doesn't matter because God will be denounced regardless.

ID has ZERO credibility in the scientific community, it's gaining popularity among Christians as a way to integrate their faith into established science; We may not yet have the definitive answer of how the "spark" of life was created that set evolution into motion but we most likely will, eventually. At this point ID can't even be proposed as a hypothesis because it doesn't satisfy the scientific method. ID, if given enough supporting evidence could be space aliens and not some divine omnipotent and omniscient being. This is what they want to teach as ID, which is ludicrous;

ID is an attempt to disguise creationism as some sort of new paradigm. It's just old wine in a new bottle. They claim there's a distinction between creationism and intelligent design, but it's smoke and mirrors, just another attempt to get a foot in the door.
