Anyone else notice he claims the Earth is only 10k years old and dinosaurs still live among us. Somebody tell me where the t-rex's are residing so I don't move there, talk about a killer commute.

Actually, yes and that's the kind of stuff I was taught. I wasn't surprised it's a Baptist site because I was raised Baptist; "The Bible is the literal inspired word of God." There is no flexibility in the dogma, if science disagrees with the faith then they denounce the science as "lies of the devil" and replace the science with something fabricated from the Bible. By the age of nine I had realized their view was BS. This is a perfect example of why "intelligent design" shouldn't be taught in science classes. It's tantamount to giving it undue credibility and making it the equal of real science.chewyxrage said:

ID has ZERO credibility in the scientific community, it's gaining popularity among Christians as a way to integrate their faith into established science; We may not yet have the definitive answer of how the "spark" of life was created that set evolution into motion but we most likely will, eventually. At this point ID can't even be proposed as a hypothesis because it doesn't satisfy the scientific method. ID, if given enough supporting evidence could be space aliens and not some divine omnipotent and omniscient being. This is what they want to teach as ID, which is ludicrous;silverbackn said:
