i only do that when im on a conference call though. i totally hate being behind closed doors with all my staff sitting right outside. makes me feel too detached. plus theyre all in training right now so Im pretty much at their side all day as answering questions and providing support. if i didnt have a call center to run, id close my door though.

I usually only close mine when i'm on a conference call or a webinar (which i'm on a lot) or if i'm writing and it's noisy.
it feels very... i don't know.. bratty or self indulgent but everyone does it.

I just closed my door and put a post it note on it that says, "enter quietly, webinar in progress and I have a stain on my shirt."

i do have a stain on my shirt.
