is this PC worth $350?

Both my tablet and desktops are crashed out right now. I have a video card to put into this system as well as a monitor. Is this worth the $350 he's asking? The bottom of the ad on craigslist says the price is negotiable... what should I offer?

I'd just go to costco and buy a new one for $400.

The risk is there is no warranty if something breaks and it sounds like this is a home shop throw together.

go to new egg and see how much it would cost you to build the same..

also, was there an operating system.?? i can't remember now..

I'd like to start from teh motherboard up, but this is just in a pinch becuase of having 2 computers fail recently. My desktop has been crankin along since 1999 too, lmao.

The computer in the original post has XP Pro with a COA and restore disk, if that makes any difference.

okay I've got $566 for this deal via newegg. I had to make some assumptions about the processor because I couldnt find the exact one listed. Could someone actually look it up for me? I couldnt figure otu which one of these it was:

I wish I could fucking sleep right now, just stoked about getting a working computer up and running again. I've got licenses (legal ones) for both the client and server versions of IpSwitchFTPpro I could get set up in one day to get this study transfer working.

Fuck this is awesome.

you forgot the 1GB RAM, 200GB disk, 16X dvd burner, and XP Pro. That is a steal. A new PC for that price will come with a Celeron/Sempron, 512MB RAM, XP Home and a cd burner at best.

Pentium D's arent "crap" they just arent as good as the new intel line Core 2 Duos.
