Call public records and request a copy of your marriage lisence. All you need to do is provide YOUR SS# and for a fee they'll make you a copy. His SS# will be on the lisence.
Is there a way to get someone's SS#?

There's nothing illegal about her having his SS#. It's what she does with it that could be. I've was separated from my husband for 6 years before I sought a divorce. Being unable to contact him I still needed his SS# to file. Nothing wrong with looking at your own marriage lisence. It's printed on each and every one in the US.HS Lifter said:

I have the marriage cert and it doesn't have the SS# on it, but as I said, the copy of the last joint tax return we filed does. The folks at childsupport enforcement now have it, along with all his other info. 
As for sharing custody - AINT GONNA HAPPEN. Motherfucker had his chance. A court took custody from him and I should have listen to the court then. He has made our lives a living hell since and I am not about to repeat my mistakes from the past.
I FLAT OUT TRUSTED AND GAVE HIM CUSTODY because I couldn't take what his constant legal barrages were doing to the kids. I gave that motherfucker EVERYTHING - EVERYTHING and still it wasn't enough for him. I came back in 3 days time when I found out that he was abusing and neglecting my kids. Then that motherfucker continued the circus by making all sorts of bullshit haneous allegations about me - jacked the legal bills up another 30/40K dragged the kids through more hell until THEY ALL STOOD UP AND SAID - YOU ARE A LIAR DADDY - WE WANT TO LIVE WITH OUR MOMMY. Yea, real stand up father and man needing to use the police to "enforce" his custodial rights by dragging crying kids away from their mother and the only family that ever cared about them. Finally the kids locked themselves in a room and stole his cell and called me crying, "Mommy, daddy said that if we dont listen to him he will call the police and they will take us to a foster home... Dont worry though, we are safe because we locked ourselves in a room. They cant take us away, please come to get us mommy."
Yea... I am at work at my bullshit job making 7$ p/hr while he is in a 400K house, w/built in pool driving around in a brand new SUV, has a brand new motorcycle in storage was paying (and fucking) some bimbo 12$ p/hr to yell at my kids but I should "share" custody?
Ummmmmmm NOT.
That motherfucker made his bed. He has dragged us through hell by manipulating the laws that were designed to protect the parental rights of GOOD FATHERS costing my kids over 165K.... but I should "share custody".
I dont think so.
When I had a job that everyone looked down on me for but still paid our bills WITHOUT childsupport or alimony or any income from OUR business I was a neglectful, drug-abusing, alcoholic whore.... *wink*
Now I will be making sub $600 p/month... but my kids have EVERYTHING they need. Clean clothes, a safe place to live and all the good food they need. My family has been helping us from the beginning and they will be there in the end.
That bastard made his bed and now he will lie in it ALONE. I didn't have to break the law or manipulate anyone to do it. No "good old boys" to break his legs... Didn't have to pay some lawyer with no conscious gobs of money to lie for me in court... Didn't have to fill my kids' heads with all sorts of lies about what their father is like.
We will be ok...
Now I will get some health benefits so I can at least get my scripts filled and maybe go back to the doc. And I will take care of us until my work is recognized...
