coming off your vehicle? its coming off the front of my van and i dont know how to stop it:( without getting it repainted
any ideas?

No real way to stop that Klu...most likely, the sun has baked it off, the same way the ovens at the plant where it was built 'baked' it on. You can seal the ends of the paint chips with clear coat epoxy (you can get it at a hardware store) to buy some time, but it won't last all that long in the sun. Probably a year or two if you are lucky.

You'll need to sand down the area where the paint is coming off and then primer it and repain that area.

Ah. Then I suggest she chips off the remaining paint, and puts some NASCAR stickers on it. No shame in that.
LMAO...and add saran wrap....wal-mart has good deals on that too.... :)

i am not picking on klu...there is no way to prevent a old car made back in the day from rusting and chipping paints......cars have the typical top coat but really they dont last that long..one dent or scratch and you are screwed

It's too late to stop it now. GM cars from that era are notorious for losing their clearcoat.

What you should have done is to have waxed the car on a regular basis.

Nah, all the wax in China wouldn't solve GM's paint bonding issues.
