Are you taking any joint supplements?
I would recommend taking MSM, chondroitin, glucosamine, and essential fatty acids.
Also cartiledge manufacture requires a few mineral co-enzymes, like copper and zinc (if memory is correct, the enzymes are called metalurginases or something like that), so a good multi vit/mineral supp as well.
I do think people train need more than the RDA.
I also know this is obvious, but what is your stretching like?
It is often the LAST thing I want to do after training, and I sometimes forget..........
