Is there a direct link between higher PSA and testosterone use?

HRT keeps me young!

I was boxed in by my Dr today for a PSA test. It had been 6 months.

Is there a direct link between a higher PSA score and testosterone use?

I normally have a PSA around 1.1.
I've been on two cycles this year that included first test p and now test c.
If that damn score comes in high ... like a 6 ... he'll know I went beyond HRT.

My esto has been dropping and cholesterol was within range last month ... the a-dex and diet + zetia are working.

there are a few factors that can effect PSA, elevated levels are seen in prostate cancer..ejaculation can raise psa, sticking something in your rectum ie..digital rectal exam or butt plug...can administration of high dose testosterone raise psa? i cant say for certain,,but when men are hypogonadic they have a lower psa(in general), keeping into account if they dont have any other prostate pathology problems going on like cancer/bph/ prostatitis.

I'm a little slow so what you are saying is if you've been on long enough to shrink up the boys your psa should be lower unless there is a sign of prostate problems

I was getting a lot of sex before the blood test ... literally within hours.
I can use that as an excuse. I want to finish the cycle, but not if I'm going to have prostate problems. That scares the beJesus out of me ... enough to go natural.

Even the sonogram exam is a nightmare. It felt like they put a camera man in a truck up there back in 2004 when I had it done.

Maybe ... the butt plug too. :rainbow:
