Is there a difference between male/female dieting

Do men and women train/eat differently due to hormone ratio differences? Obviously, aside from hormones there are other differences that dictate how an individual might reach their goal, but I'm only concerned about hormones atm. Thanks!

No, not really. Obviously, most females will eat a lower amount of calories than a male. And therefore, each macro amount will be less. But overall - in general - what works for a male should work for a female.

Now, as with males, you are going to run into individual differences. What works for me, may not work for another female. I may have a higher "threshhold" for carbs than another female (or vice versa). Some females can cut and keep in some fruit or startchy carbs, others have to cut all that out early.

Also, some people's individual hormone makeup can determine what their bodies can handle. But as a general blanket statement - yes, men and women can diet the same.
