is one minute quaker oats the same as old fashioned quaker oats??

I have microwaved oatmeal for years, but I don't exactly understand what you're getting at with that question. Perhaps you could elaborate for me.

When polyunsatured fats are warmed up , they get oxidized. That's why I asked this.

Using that line of thinking, your oatmeal should always be cold then, huh? The stove does the same thing to the oatmeal that the microwave does.

1 minute oatmeal and Old Fashioned oatmeal are identical, trust me I have them both sitting in my closet, the only difference is the oats are smaller. You guys are referring to the packets of oatmeal with like 40g of sugar in them, they suck!
