RESULT NAME IN RANGE OUT OF RANGE REFERENCE UNITS

THYROID STUDIES
T3 UPTAKE 55.36 24.4 - 39.1 %
T4, TOTAL 3.5 6.5 - 10.5 MCG/DL
RESULT REPEATED AND VERIFIED
FREE THYROXINE INDEX 6.1 6.0 - 11.4
TSH (3RD GENERATION) 1.754 0.35 - 5.50 MCIU/ML

Please...only those that actually know about this shit. Don't answer this question if you "think" you know the answer. I understand that having a metabolism this fast will be bad if I didn't use gear and/or ate only 3 meals a day. But I am having my 7 meals a day. And I am using gear. I am consuming around 425grams of protein per day. And around 600grams of carbs per day.

Bro, you do not look like you are in any jeopardy of starving to death. i am not sure what you want. you are being a little hard on yourself maybe??

You look good man, a fast metabolism is not always a bad thing and will slow with age.

i agree he looks alright

Yeah but look at the high range. It is 39. Mine is fucking 55!!!! Bro, no wonder why I lost 13lbs of LBM in only 6 days when i got sick. And no wonder why I am eating like never before and not getting huge.

LOL! You have to be kidding if you think you lost 13lbs of pure LBM in 6 days!
Trust me, it was mostly water weight.

Not water weight bro! Its been already 5 fucking weeks and all I got back was 10lbs back! If it was water weight, I would've gained everything back in a few days. Not only that, but I drank shitloads of water the whole time I was sick. I must have had 2 gallons of water. And that doesn't include the water used in all my shakes I had during that time period.

Water does not equal more water weight. Salt, D-bol and stuff like that equals water weight.

its all about the setpoint theory. Wonder why some people eat three regular meals a day and stay big? Because they have a higher set weight their body is used to, but the good thing is, it can be raised over time if a given weight is maintained with extra calories. Guys used to get phat as F*CK just to raise their set point and be able to gain extra muscle.

That's just Carthic's nature......he's always worried and always thinking he's got more problems than what are there in reality.

He's a bit on the psychosomatic side of things...good bro, though.

no offense, but blood work confirmed enzyme readings are not psychosomatic

I realize that, just sayin' that I know Carth very well and he tends to be a glass half empty type of guy. Even when everything is smooth sailing he will look for that one thing to harp on.

Blood assays are the key, correct.........they tell the story.

Interesting profile bro. Your T4 is low, but your T3 uptake is high. Along with your TSH is on the low side of normal. This would indicate that your body is attempting to slow down your thyroid gland. Your T4 is converting to T3 at a very high rate. Do you have any other symptoms? Sweating, nervousness, naseau, shaking, etc.?

No symptoms at all. No diarrhea, sweating, shaking, nervousness....NOTHING! I too do not understand the T4 thing. Well, maybe you can explain this to me. I stopped taking Cynomel about 6 weeks ago. And this whole time I've been taking nothing but Gugglesterones. Not overdosing on them at all. I'm taking the recommended dose. So what does this mean? What is going on?

Well that explains everything...the cytomel I mean. You're body is simply trying to stabilize itself. This can take a couple months. Don't worry. You'll be fine. If there was a problem, you'd be having symptoms. Relax... ;)

Symptoms like getting too fat? That isn't happening at all! But why a high T3? Gugglesterones is doing this???? Should I stop the Guggles?

Mmmm. Not the most typical, but still.. youmay have low RT3 (binding protein of thyroid). Maybe You may have iodide deficiency. But as far as I remember, it is more apparent in severe diets or cases of very high cortisol. There is a situation called Hypothyroxinmia, but it seems your T3 are too high for that one. Bump for more help to Carth

Well, I do not look like that anymore. At least not at the moment. So why do false advertisement by putting up an avatar of my old self. My old ripped up self! :-)

Stop the guggleosterones. I don't think that's the problem though. I would just wait another 4 weeks and have the test done again. Like I said previously it's just your body stabilizing itself. It's the same with coming off AAS. Your test levels don't go to normal automatically. It takes time.

If I stop the Guggles....then all metabolism will slow down. And I'll have to wait for it to slowly come back. Not good.

Guggles don't have that much of an impact on your metabolism. And if you're worried about your metabolism slowing down, why are you on here freaking out???(don't take that as a flame bro, it's not intended as one). ;)
