is my friend on roids?

ok i knwo nothing about roids , nor do i really want to research them or anythign since plan on staying natural for...pretty much till i die. anyways my friends putting up some crazy lift numbers and his back and face got mad acne. i need your input because right now, with the way hes going, hes gonna own me in the gym..the evidence:

hes gained 20lbs on bench press in a month (1 rep max)
25lbs on deads and 25 on squats for 1 rep maxes, and everything else (like skull crushers, barbell curls..etc etc are going up by 10-15 lbs a month) and hes packing on about an average of 8-10lbs of solid muscle every month. and no weight gainer. plus cardio (hes also in brazilian jiu jitsu with me and that shit makes u sweat). the only supps he takes are lean protein (dont know the brand), noxplode and thats it. are these juiced numbers, or is he just a genetic freak?

i am asking out of curiosity and jealously (that fuck!).

he went from 185 on bench 3x3 to 205 3x3 in a month
deads from 295- 315 3x3
and squat 250-275 ish 3x3
 
No, that is not a huge change from baseline. Look for water gain (or puffyness) over time on his body rather than on his lifting.

JK bro, by a breif read of your situation I'd say yes he's juicing. Won't last forever tho. His gains will slow and when he comes off they will come down a bit.

If he wants some help in gaining muscle is his prerogative, you can just stay out of his way if he keeps going that way.....he will own you

He may not tell you the truth. Especially if he thinks you will tell others.
 
Just ask him what he's taking. If he says some OTC shit ask him if there is anything "extra" in there.

20lbs in a month isnt that great if he's new to training with weights... if he's been at it a while then thats a big jump.

abs stuff (we both do random abs shit)
random calves shit

some rotator cuff stuff

mostly for endurance for martial arts and shit,.

how about his food intake? supplements?

20lbs in a month could be creatine/NO2... or it could be anadrol or a similar gear if he's staying dry...

is he puffy in the face at all?
 
Yarg buddy, you ought to put this on steroid e-f board and let those guys tell you........given that im a steroid user myself i could tell you that you got no reason to worry about asking your boy that.

As they said, if he wasnt an asshole before steroids, chances are, he wont be an ass on them. If you two are close together he might tell you, but watch how you ask him. Dont be abrupt, just tell him your observation and assure him that its ok if he is. You just want to know if he has an advantage over you.

his face is SLIGHTLY puffy now that you mention it. his supps hes told me so far are just whey and noxplode, i think he also takes animal pak multivitamins. dont know about his full diet though. he has been known to eat lots of junk food.

i would seriously hope that he did not start on juice with a bench of no more than that.....i think he's just gaining bro.....185 to 205 no big deal...if it were 375-400 maybe
