Have you ever noticed that no matter what the topic ( religion, politics, economics, basket weaving, etc.) that he will jump in any thread and pretend that he is THE expert and final authority on the subject? Who the fuck does this guy think he is? Is he Kreskin or something? Seriously, check out his threads. He knows exactly how to win the war on terror, how to reform our educational system, who G.W. Bush should appoint to the Supreme Court, as well as knowing how to perform vascular surgery.

Opinions are fine, but this asshole is the everlasting know- it- all. I'll bet he weighs 110 or is a fat ass because training seems to be his Achilles Heal.

Seriously, the guy claims to be 22 years old? Ask him what his salary is. He'll no doubt say it's in 6 figures. Of course he drives a Mercedes. He probably tells girls at bars stories about his days in the CIA and going on covert operations in Morocco. Then he will proceed to tell them he is currently second in charge at the World Bank. The guy is so full of bullshit that he probably believes what he says. Some people are so damned delusional.
 
hey, this thread is barely worth the time, BUT... MTS is a good guy. get to know him- he's smart, funny, and NOT a know it all and i'm glad we're buds.

U can't blame a man for being in the right spot at the right time... Also being elevated in class quickly will form your opinions. Add that to the fact as youve pointed out , he's a young guy... it makes perfect sense why he ways what he says and feels the way he feels.

What's funny is that I can think of a different member who's name would fit so perfectly in the thread title. Matt's doesn't fit though.

I've actually had a couple of really good conversations with MTS in the past, and on some touchy subjects.

I've no beef with him.

I've met 17 people off of here: about equal guys and women. I've stayed at people's houses. I've had people come to my houses in FL. I even had someone off of EF stay at my place in NY. People off of here have met my family. I've trained with several members off of here, and drunk beers with many more. I'm not hiding anything bor, nor am I misrepresnting myself on here.

My list of people with whom I want to eat steaks and drink beers with is long. As lestat would say "Lot of good bros (and broettes) in here". And in time I'll hang out with all of them.

Yeah, I've got my opinions. I am very confident in my opinions and abilities. I've had some good breaks, and I have worked my ass off. As it so happens, I am seeing this at 10:51 PM and I am in my office reading annual reports for companies I want to meet with.

I'm really sorry you feel this way about me. I don't know what else to say.

I like MTS now..i got a bad impression at first when he made some comments about middle class people and things but I realized his rich ass just couldnt help it. :p

Matt is a very good guy, I've met him had wings and beer with him, we hung out did all that good shit friends do. He's no fake, not at ALL. He's intelligent, witty, honest, and he has his shit together.

Why hate someone because they strive to do better?

Matt has an opinion, as we all do. Some voice it and can care less what others think and then others dont' say jack because they are afraid of the redicule. Matt says what he thinks, good bad ugly. The thing is, he most certainly has good argument to back his opinion.

Now, of course I dont' agree with everything matty says, i have my own opinions. That doesn't mean I don't respect his opinion.

Just because the guy thinks your a jerk due to your post doesn't in any way mean hes a fake. Hes just being honest and forming an opinion from the information YOU have given him.

Never found a moment where matt wasnt both honest and completely true to himself. Was a guest at his house and found the guy to be a completely real person.

Are his opinions sometimes infuriating? Yes, they should be, i know mine are... does the fact that he has no qualms speaking his mind bother some? Whatever, matt and i have bared some teeth at each other in the past, prolly will again.. will that prevent buying shots by the dozen again? no.

Besides, matt isnt even in the top five of EFs pompus asses.... LOL!

MTS is one of the few bors on this board that keeps it balanced, amongst all the drivel and bomb wars. There were a few others, but alas they are no more.

Someday Matt and I will cross paths in South Florida, we will then enjoy the finest tacos money can buy. And if I remember correctly, when Matt joined EF, he was still a private trainer or something like that so it's not like he came here with a 2 billion$ fortune.
 
I think Matt is cool. Always helpful when he can. Plus he is a republican and he don't like the palestinians either. So he is cool with me.

I admit to (at one time) thinking Matt was a very smug ass, but really he's just extremely intelligent and also business savvy. He's really a very nice guy to talk to. He has a wide range of life experience for someone his age ( i believe be is late 20s)

Also, I've never met anyone that was truly financially successful who could spend so much time on a chat board. Rich working people just don't have that kind of time. Hell, I wouldn't have the time if my job didn't require me to be on the web all day anyway.

If you publicly attack someone , I would hope they would respond if they have any testicles what so ever. But something tells me you're blowing the "nasty messages" out of proportion.

I think Matt's in a managerial role , so I don't think he's doing alot of the hands on stuff. He's hasn't told me his job description so I cannot comment on that.

I DO work on the web all day log as a system administrator and an Oracle DBA and I can still type some posts on here
